Accounting/Finance Concentration

What is Accounting/Finance?

Accounting/Finance

Accounting/Finance is not just about balancing books and finding a five-dollar error. It is a system of organizing and communicating a company's financial information to make good business decisions and to be accountable to others for those decisions. You might say that accounting/finance is the financial language of business, especially for its management.

In Kettering's Accounting/Finance program, you will learn about financial and managerial accounting, cost analysis, auditing, taxation, investments, capital structure, and budgeting. In addition to eight credit hours in accounting and eight credit hours in finance, you can select three optional courses to further your Accounting/Finance program.
