Manufacturing Engineering Minor
At Kettering, students majoring in Manufacturing (or Industrial) Engineering learn how to make a career out of figuring how to do things faster, safer and more efficiently. You can minor in Manufacturing Engineering as well—and take advantage of one of the best engineering programs in the nation.

The minor involves completing 24 credits from a wide range of courses. You’ll study
- the nature of materials,
- one or several processes, such as casting or joining, and
- automation and assembly.
